Aumenta que é Rock'n Roll is a Brazilian comedy film directed by Tomas Portella (Ensaio Sobre a Cegueira, Impuros). The film tells the story of Luiz Antônio (Johnny Massaro), responsible for creating the first Brazilian rock radio station in the 1980s: Rádio Fluminense, also popularly known as ‘A Maldita’. The radio station ended up making history and has been winning over many listeners since its creation in 1982, broadcasting the rock and roll of its time. Luiz unexpectedly finds himself in charge of a radio station that is bankrupt and falling apart. And it is precisely thanks to this challenge that Fluminense FM is born.
