Brazil, 1990, "Age of Privatizations". Pedro works in a large state company. Pressured by a rigorous restructuring process, he gets an early retirement against his wishes. Afterwards he decides to give a new meaning to life and moves to Barbosa, his small hometown, in the distant countryside.
