Ricardo Amaral is much more than his iconic nightclubs and La Dolce Vita of Rio, Paris, and New York's high society. In the life of this King of the Night, like a samba school parade, we discover how the Copacabana fireworks were born, why Caetano and Gil were arrested in his Sucata nightclub, how Miami dolphins escaped and repopulated Guanabara Bay, why Engov (a hangover medicine) was invented, or the celebrity boxes at the Sapucaí (Sambadrome), and characters like Pelé, Danuza Leão, Prince Charles, Fellini, Luiza Brunet, Troisgros, Dzi Croquettes, and the New York Mafia cross paths in this vaudeville.
