Bill Markham is an American engineer who travels to Brazil with his family to work on the construction of a hydroelectric dam in the Amazon rainforest. It will be necessary to devastate several green areas and depopulate all the communities that live in the region. As a form of revenge, an indigenous tribe known as "The Invisible Indians", because they use an emerald-based powder, kidnaps Bill's son, Tommy, just 7 years old, who is raised as a great warrior in indigenous customs. Ten years later, father and son, who now goes by the name of Tommé, meet again and the strong cultural differences make the situation awkward. But Bill will overcome his prejudices to help his son's companions, who are being threatened by other tribes and "white men".
