Based on the work of Clarice Lispector.
Rio de Janeiro, 1964. At the end of a love affair, G.H., a wealthy sculptress from Copacabana, fires her maid and decides to clean her apartment, beginning with the maid's room. There, G.H. comes across an enormous cockroach, revealing her own dread of the world, a reflection of a society full of prejudices against those it considers subordinate. Faced with the insect, G.H. lives out an existential ordeal. The experience recounts the loss of her identity and leads her to question all the social conventions which imprison women to this day.
